Cookie policy

atoll_session: set only when you sign in with an email code. HTTP only, secure, 24 hours. It holds a keyed hash of your address so the site knows you are signed in.

atoll.cookies (local storage): your answer to the cookie notice.

ga-help and ga-tiers (local storage): whether you have seen the map controls, and the last tier you saw for each island, so a growth is played once.

atoll.account (local or session storage): the id of your passkey, or for email accounts the key for this browser session only.

No analytics, advertising, social or cross-site cookies. No third-party scripts run on the site. Showing other visitors on an island uses no cookie and no storage: the id is made in the open tab and gone when you close it.

The notice offers essential only or accept; both set the same essential storage, since there is nothing else to accept. You can clear all of it from your browser settings at any time, which also signs you out.
