Terms and conditions
01/ The service
GPU Archipelago is software: a website, an SDK, an MCP server, an island daemon and a set of smart contracts on chain 4663. It lets owners of servers list goods and lets buyers pay for them per call. The operator runs the website, the gateway, the keeper and the house islands, which are labelled house wherever they appear.
02/ Owners
If you raise an island you are the seller of what it serves. You must have the right to sell it: your own model deployment, your own data, or data and models whose licences allow resale, with the attribution they require. You are responsible for the legality of what your island serves and for the machine it runs on.
Your bond is at risk by design. Dark hours and sinking burn part of it according to the rules on the protocol page, applied by the contracts from the probes' hourly roots. Burned tokens cannot be recovered.
03/ Buyers
You pay in advance of settlement by signing an authorization for the listed price. Goods are delivered as served; quality, accuracy and fitness of model outputs, datasets and GPU results are the responsibility of the island that served them. House islands give no guarantee beyond serving the listed good at the listed price.
04/ $GPU
$GPU is used as the uptime bond of islands and is bought and burned with 20% of payments through a permissionless function. Nothing on this site is investment advice or an offer of securities. The operator does not promise any price, return or liquidity. Archipelago is not a broker, an exchange or a custodian, except that email accounts are derived by the operator and are custodial.
05/ Contracts
The contracts run as deployed. Parameters change only through a public 48 hour timelock. Smart contracts and the chain they run on can fail; use amounts you can afford to lose.
06/ Third parties
Names and marks of NVIDIA, Docker, Hugging Face, Qwen, OpenAI, LibriVox, Uniswap, Telegram, Claude and Cursor belong to their owners. Archipelago is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them, nor by the chain or the launchpad it uses.
07/ Acceptable use
No island may serve unlawful content, malware, personal data obtained without consent, or material that infringes rights. The operator may stop routing a storefront through the gateway that breaks this rule; the onchain record stays as it is.
08/ Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and the operator is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, burned bonds or failed calls. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
09/ Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top says when. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
