Payments and the split
Settlement
A payment is an EIP-3009 receiveWithAuthorization signed by the buyer to the Meter. Its nonce is keccak256(island, job, request, salt), so the authorization can only pay the island and request it was signed for, whoever submits it. The gateway serves the call, queues the authorization and the keeper settles the queue every hour with settleBatch. Bad or reused authorizations are skipped, never reverted.
Getting paid
Single-island sales are credited to the island's owner at settlement. The owner calls Meter.claim() whenever they like, or uses the Account page. Continent jobs are claimed per job with a proof.
burnBuy
The 20% reserve accrues in USDG. burnBuy(minOut) is permissionless, at most once an hour. It spends the smaller of the reserve and 0.5% of the $GPU pool's ETH depth, swaps USDG to WETH on Uniswap v3, buys $GPU on its Pons v4 pool, sends it to 0x...dEaD and pays the caller 1% of the budget. The keeper never calls it.
